The Riad Edit is a love letter to Morocco, written from the inside.
Morocco is more than a holiday backdrop or a decorating style. It is a way of living: tea poured from a height for a guest who arrived unannounced, a Friday couscous shared from one plate, a house that keeps its beauty for the people inside it. We grew up with these rituals, and we want the world to know them as they really are.
Every piece on The Riad Edit starts with a simple question: what is this thing, really? A teapot, a lantern, a spice, a neighbourhood. We answer with the words Moroccans actually use, in Darija, Arabic and French, and with the stories behind them.
Kitchen and tea: the dishes, pots and spices of Moroccan home cooking, and the tea ritual at the heart of Moroccan hospitality.
Home decor: riads, lanterns, zellige and the craft behind them.
Beauty: argan oil, rose water and the hammam, as Moroccans use them.
Travel: the cities and neighbourhoods locals love, starting with Casablanca.
We never invent a tradition to make a better story. When we recommend a product, it is because we would use it ourselves; some links may earn us a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
Morocco is generous with those who take the time to understand it. Welcome in. Marhba bik.
